My name is Victoria and I’m a qualified humanistic psychotherapist.
I hold a Clinical Diploma and an MSc from Metanoia Institute (accredited by Middlesex University), a specialist college for psychologists, counsellors and psychotherapists in London. I am a member of UKCP (the UK Council for Psychotherapy) and BACP ( British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
What do I believe?
Humanistic psychotherapy is about hope. I believe that everyone can develop greater self-understanding and make changes to help them feel better, and grow towards a happier, more fulfilled life.
The core of my approach is offering kindness, honesty, lack of judgement and reliability to my clients. I place a great value on the relationship between us so that we can connect in a trusting and secure space.
It’s a great privilege to sit with my clients, listen to their story with care, and work collaboratively towards change.
Who do I work with?
My clients are each unique. I work with people from different backgrounds, ages and cultures and with many different challenging experiences. Some examples of experiences that clients bring are anxiety, feelings of being lost and alone, lack of meaning, trauma, adverse childhood experiences, health anxiety, relationship problems, bereavement and other forms of loss and low self-esteem.
